Ancient system of education Gurukul ages back to around 5000 BC in India. During Vedic age in India students used to get knowledge of different subjects and also about life in Gurukul, it’s a concept of education wherein participants called as sishyas reside with the teacher or the guru or Acharya as part of their family. Indian education system of gurukul was so strong that it was considered to be the pillar of its togetherness and rulers from outside from Moghals to British tried to break it so that they can rule the land. In gurukul system students used to study Vedas along with getting knowledge about many activities based skills. Guru not only educated the students about subject knowledge but they also make them a responsible person who is aware of all his responsibilities and duties towards his family as well as society
